
UYDO works with local microfinance organisations on the ground to provide loans to young entrepreneurs. We call these organisations our “Field Partners”. They identify young entrepreneurs, distribute the loans and manage the repayments. They also provide business training and mentoring support to ensure the entrepreneurs are equipped with everything they need to succeed. Please see a list of our current field partners below.
Kenya Youth Business Trust (KYBT)
UYDO has joined forces with KYBT, a partner within the Prince's Trust Youth Business International (YBI) network, to provide loans to young entrepreneurs and explore ways inwhich UYDO can add value to the great work already being done. KYBT was formed in 2003 to assist Kenya's large youth population in overcoming unemployment through entrepreneurship.
