We have been working with UYDO since 2009 when we donated our share of the profits from our sellout Christmas Ball (co-hosted with the UCL Dance Society at On Anon). We have yet again committed to donate the profits from our upcoming 2010 Christmas Ball and will work to further engage our members in the work of this fantastic charity by encouraging them to run their own fundraising events and get involved in the work experience opportunities on offer.
Not only is social enterprise a great way to improve the world we live in, but it can be a valuable addition to any CV and improving employability is a fundamental aim of our society.
Our motto is ‘ambition needs direction’ but sometimes ambition needs more than direction, it needs support, inspiration and funding and this is where UYDO comes in.
