How can I get my event in the press?

You can download and tailor your own press release, then contact your local press to see if they’ll cover your event/activity.

How can I pay in the money I fundraised?

Online

Log in to your UYDO Page or UYDO Team Page and pay in any cash you’ve received in person

• Pay in your money online with a credit or debit card by going here

Can I get a refund? Can those who sponsored me or donated to my page get a refund?

Funds cannot be refunded once they have been given to UYDO.

Can I keep some of the funds raised to cover my costs?

We understand that in some instances you may need to keep some of the funds raised to cover your costs. If this is the case, you need to have a fundraising agreement in place with us which you can get by emailing fundraising@UYDO.org. You must also make it clear to those sponsoring or donating to you or your event what percentage of the funds raised will be given as loans to young entrepreneurs and what percentage will be kept to cover costs.

Once funds are given to UYDO, we cannot refund this money. Please be sure to take out the funds to cover your costs before giving UYDO the money.

I want to do a sponsored event for UYDO, how do I go about this?

Make sure you sign up as a UYDO member, so you can access your very own UYDO Page to help you raise money online and tell others about your event.

Simply put, it says all the right things about why people should donate to your UYDO Page without the hassle of you having to write it. All you have to do is click send. I know, easy right?! And the more Fundvitations you send, the more money you’re likely to raise!
